Map Coordinates in Icewind Dale?

I occassionally refer to walk throughs to find key items or treasures in games like Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, etc. The walk through might say something like: "find the infamous Nellik's Sword at X 0250 and y 7489 (Note: these are not the coordinates required to find Nellik's Sword). When I look on the map, I can't figure out how to display the x and y cooridinates. Any help out there?

They assume you have the cheat codes/keys enabled... in which case pressing the 'x' key will display your x-y co-ordinates.
