BloodRayne 2 Newsletter

We're back from E3 and there is a ton of news on BloodRayne 2 to share. Take a look:

Post E3 Hands On Press

BloodRayne 2 got a lot of attention at this year's E3 show and some sites have already posted their early impressions after playing the demo at our booth. "BloodRayne 2 appears to be ramping up to be a solid sequel" according to GameSpot. "Terminal Reality is living up to the potential of the franchise with part two," says GameSpy. "Those who liked the first game have some cool things to look forward to," IGNnotes. This is just the beginning of the good news since print articles won't hit for another 2 months. We'll keep you updated as those features start coming in!

How About that Gameplay?

You've seen a lot of screens and read plenty of articles up until now, but have you seen the very first gameplay videos? Several online sites have already posted footage of the game in action, including GameSpot and iFilm. It's worth the download so make sure you check it out!

Introducing Ms. Ute Werner as BloodRayne

If you didn't see her pics plastered all over the net, your peepers are in for a serious treat! Ute brought BloodRayne to life at the show wearing a killer dress that you'll see again in game. She was such a huge hit that we've added an entire new section to our Gallery. Look for members of the Terminal Reality BR2 team cozying it up to their creation for the camera….

We Deliver Chicks in Bikinis!!!

Last newsletter we promised you some snippets from our BloodRayne 2 casting session and this time we're delivering. We've cut together a small sampling from the sessions to show you 8 girls of the 50+ who auditioned plus the one who won the job--Ute Werner. You can download the five min QuickTime video right here. If you just can't get enough, send us an email to BloodRayne@MajescoSales.com and we'll indulge you with some more selects in our next update.

Editors Note: ACTING!!!

New Screens, Desktop, Avatars, Exclusive Art, the Banned E3 Banner and More!

We've dropped in some new screenshots for your viewing pleasure. You can check them out by platform in our Gallery section. A new desktop with some fresh art also awaits you in the Download area. And for those of you active on the fan site boards, you'll be interested in our new Avatars. If you're a registered member then you have access to our Exclusive Gallery where we've added a nice piece of art courtesy of Ben Mathis at Terminal Reality. Thanks Ben! Finally, for those of you who went to E3, you definitely didn't see our BloodRayne 2 banner because-horror of horrors-it was banned. Even though you saw plenty of it at the show, apparently it's not cool to use the word on a banner. Go figure!!

New Fan Site Download Kit

Attention all you budding web designers! We've had multiple requests for a Fan Site Kit and we've put one together that includes everything you need to get your tribute site started. Once you go live, make sure you email us the link and we'll add you to our growing list of fan sites on www.BloodRayne2.com.

Stay tuned for future newsletters that will include demo release dates, pre-order incentive news and some very cool BloodRayne 2 extras that you can't miss!

Here's the latest BR2 newsletter!

Lots of exciting BloodRayne news this month!

BloodRayne Comic Book Announced

Echo 3 Worldwide will be launching the very first BloodRayne comic book this October in time for the launch of BloodRayne 2. Tentatively titled BloodRayne: Skies Afire, this comic series will feature penciling by Romano Molenaar (Purgatori, Lady Death, The Darkness and Witchblade), inking by Marco Galli (Aphrodite IX, Ripclaw, Witchblade, Captain America and Fantastic Four) and writing by Steven O'Connell (Tiger Wraith and The Nest) who is also a professional letterer. The concept cover art to the left isn't final but it will give you a good idea of what this team is capable of. For more information, check out Echo3worldwide.com and read the full press release here. Stay tuned for additional details on this exciting new comic series!

New Game Feature Revealed!

One of the newest additions to BloodRayne 2 is the ability to impale your enemies. Rayne can kick baddies into spikes or use her harpoon to toss them onto other nasty objects. As the screenshot to the left reveals, you can do some serious damage with this ability. The best part is that the team is adding in plenty of potential "impale points" throughout the game to give you even more options to creatively eliminate minions. Impaling is just one more new feature to look forward to in BloodRayne 2!

BloodRayne Movie Update

We know you're all anxiously awaiting news of the BloodRayne movie so we're sharing some concept art with you to tide you over until we know who's filling Rayne's shoes on the big screen. Behold Kagan's lair.....

BloodRayne readies for launch in Japan

This August, Japanese gamers will get their first taste of the original BloodRayne when the game launches overseas. We wanted to share the Japanese anime-inspired cover art with you because it's such a unique look for Rayne. Click the pic to enlarge.

More BloodRayne in the Press

We recently sat down to show UGO.com the game and they've since posted their impressions, saying BR2 "redefines the franchise, making it one of the top names in gaming." Gotta love that! Read the full article right here. In more art related press news, the July issue of PSM featured an anime styled Rayne posing in a swimsuit courtesy of artist Ryan Kinnaird. EGM also included a composite of Rayne with Ferrill in their Art of Gaming supplement.

More BloodRayne Audition Footage - Because You Asked For It!

We can't figure out why but the BloodRayne 2 E3 casting auditions we released last newsletter were insanely popular. So popular, in fact, that you fans demanded more and we're doing everything we can to keep you satisfied! This time around you get more than 7 minutes of various hotties strutting their stuff in bikinis. QuickTime and Mpeg formats are available in our Download area.

Editor's Note: Okay, ladies, some of those have to be fake!

Two BloodRayne Screensavers Now Available

Using clips from our earlier CGI trailer, we've put together two starter screensavers for you. Check them out in the Download area now and stay tuned for future additions.

There's plenty more to come in future newsletters. If you always wanted to see Rayne in her own real music video, you're going to like what we have to tell you next update!

Val, could you do me a big favor and burn that stuff onto CD for me. It'd take centuries to download all the goodies on my dial-up connection. Pretty please, with sugar on top! =D
