X2: The Return officially announced |
|
Well, we all know an expansion pack is underway but it has now been announced and named and an interview and art can be found at the Ego forums. Super-stations, eh? _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |

Am I the only one who thinks that the ship(?) in the last pic has a striking resemblance to the mothership from the Homeworld games?
Super mega extra large stations sound wicked cool but considering how choppy X2 runs on my computer it will probably melt my poor processor when placed in populated areas. |

Which version are you running Vival?
My machine was running scared of "X2's" power hungry pixels. But 1.3 made a marked difference in the framerate and made it a whole lot more playable....... of course it also made it unstable
Thank Bandana then for the all powerful 1.4 which seems to have made the game stable enough for a Nativity scene, whilst also keeping a firm grip on all that graphical loveliness.
So 1.4 then....... yes, you knew that there had to be a point to all this right?

Interesting, I stopped playing some time ago when it was version 1.2. Maybe it's time to dust off the joystick for an inspection flight. I hope my old savegames are compatible with the new patch. |
