Hi there... I only just discovered the English demo of this amazing game and am having a great time but I have a question - is there any way to force the first person view to stick permanently? I would love the immersion from this viewpoint but currently you can only use it when standing still.

Ideally, it'd be great to be able to move freely in first person too and have a switch to toggle between first person and third person. Is this at all possible? Thanks!

with Gothic you might want to give up on trying to use first person and/or the mouse. It's just easier to avoid the hassle of trying to force it to play like Quake, although first person would be nice. Hmm, maybe Gothic two will be first person.

No, there is no "real" first person view implemented.

Well how about implementing an optionally permanent 1st-person view then?
