This is off the jowood forums, and I seem to be experiencing the same problem.
"I have a foking problem with the add-on cd, when i tryed 2 install the addon it stopped in the middle of the installation with some bullshit msg "bitte legen sie Original cd Nacht des raben in" or some shit like that.
But i have the original cd of the add-on, and it always worked good.
I formatted my pc 2 days ago and wanted 2 install gothic 2 again and now it doesnt work.
WTF is this shit msg and what can i do, first i thought that it has something 2 do with german cracks that i used 2 install the addon over the english version, but I installed the addon a month ago the same way and it worked then and now i have this bullshit."
However, my install gives me that msg right away when trying to install the Addon. Can somebody please help me. |

Welcome to the forums! 
This is a typical CP problem. The check for the original CD during the installation fails. When I ran into this message I had ZoneAlarm activated. Another possible reason is outdated mainboard chipset drivers. Disableing DMA also helps sometimes.

No time now. I would suggest you
1) try to install it on one or two other PCs, to make sure the CDs are okay.
2) do a forum search. All the usual recommendations for CP problems also apply here. There must be a reason why the installer doesn´t recognize your original.
