Chronicles Prelude: Goblin Warrens released!
   

After quiet some time in development, it is time to release the first installment in the Chronicles series. While not 100% complete, it is still very playable and should keep DS fans occupied for a whiles until DS2 arrives on their shores.

The mod has some rather interesting features, not least of which is the goblin party member, crafting system and riding system. It is possible to build a vehicle, different pieces of vehicle equipment, install this equipment on the vehicle and ride around with ACTUAL riding code, none of the smoke and mirrors of new models containing mount and rider. Not even GPG has done this!

A story driven approach to the mod makes it a cut above the "see monster, kill monster" type of mods around, although there IS still a fair amount of monster bashing The conversation system used ingame is similar to that seen in the NWN game and allows for some rather interesting conversations and effects.
