Time for a new forum game. The others have gotten a bit old.
Here's an example of how this game works:
I wish for a car.
Then the next poster replies in a way that corrupts the previous poster's wish. Example:
Granted, you get the car but a pack of rabid cats jumps into the car and scratches out your eyes, while another takes your keys and joy rides all over the state!
Then that person makes a wish and the cycle continues.
Ready? Go!
I wish for a new computer. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

You get a brand new computer but the moment you turn it on a lightning strikes the electricity lines, frying the computer and electrocuting you.
I wish to go the cinema. _________________ =Member of the RPGDot Shadows=

But yo go to the cinema and realise that I work there, having met me the world ends in a nuclear haulocaust and while you are in the cineam you are forced to watch open water, to most tediously boring film ever.

Granted, but the strings snap whenever you try to play it.

Granted, but I have music playing very loud and I think you say "I want the bottle of rat poison that conveniently looks like root beer" so you drink it and go to the hospital.

Granted, but while they are doing it, the monkeys keep telling everybody that they work for you so the victims come to you and... well, you know what.

And so it does by way of each game restarting the first time you talk to an NPC. Also, it's subliminally addictive so you can't turn it off.

Granted, but since misery loves company, you've just made everyone around you miserable as well.

Hmm... I really don't see how that last one 'corrupted' my wish. Made it more effecient perhaps.
Your wish is granted. A bag of raw potatoes that have been dropped through your woodchipper is yours for the devouring. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

Granted (sort of), your wish remains as it was, but so is you mother-in-law that makes the rest of your life a living hell.
I wish that the release of Guild Wars was preponed (it that a word?) to 28th of March instead of 28th of April. _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

Granted, but it will be full of bugs, like bosses popping up at player spawns and invisible flying dwarves that take all your money.
I wish that Age of Empires 3 will be the best RTS game ever. _________________

Granted, it will be the best because it is so bad that all RTS games get banished from the earth (and memory) and only AoE3 remains to a warning example for every developer never to make an RTS again.
I wish an idea for the smartest wish ever. _________________ If you can't debate without namecalling then don't bother visiting us. -Myrthos |
