I've found the 4 book.I'll continue.

Xardas says that the orchish prophecies tell of a "holy foe" who will come to drive the sleeper away from this world" - - in the orc underground temple you will see stone carvings depicting a god with a scroll, i think we all know now to play it through.
This means that our hero will propably become a super hero in g3 if I'm not mistaken  .

Will become a superhero? Well, I guess if I could kill about 30 orcs with some Rain of Fire in G2, we can say that is superheroic

I say that you can't find the stranger, i would have played the game another time, but the game is with my friend, their are two men who found it, Wulf(maybe) and another man i think, plz. we need some pics.

Hey hey hey, what's up Wulf. Man I see you guys are still trying to figure this out out eh?  Well I've gotten a bit bored of Diablo II, i got loads of 290's, enigmas, hotos, eth botds, started an elite clan and the works. I'm slowly drifting back to the Gothic series. Well I looked at a game I made long ago and did the Chromanin quest and I didn't get a dead body, instead Chromanin 6 was on the ground and a little bit of text and a sound appeared when I opened it. I started a new game but got the dead body so I have no clue what I did to get that. I looked for the passage with no aveil  Anyway I see you got alot of recruits on this topic now and a few more clues. I haven't looked at the latest clue so I suppose one of you can post it for me word for word? Sorry I've just done a buttload of online homework and dont feel like scrolling extra I think it's weird no one else even knows much about this except you Wulf. We seem to be the "ahem" mentors here. Anyway I'll start my search again today and see what I found out.  Also a little bit of topic but if any of you guys play Diablo II let me know and we could duel or something.

Hey there Killerofevils II,
Something, that little ingredient triggered by something, i dont know what?
is still missing. I have tried to some coaxing, as per wolverine_men's hint, right to the end of the game, cannot do that bit that i know needs to be done,
the dialogue, at the right sequence will then enable and from thereon will be an open door. This can only be, in my eye's, at the chapter change (ch-4) but only after the dialogue, obviously, and then only after the trigger.
After 4 days solid, i need a break.
That book you have, cromanin 6, is on the body yes? - - - - - then i think it's no good? 
Also when the trigger "pulls" there is no need to go into the fog-tower as the wooden steps on the cliff face can be accessed to the old man, as easy as that. |

Well wulf, I looked at the cliff your talking about and plain enough was stairs, I went down and saw the Old guy but still have no idea what he wants me to do. That old guy is mega confusing  I'll look at it some more on Saturday and be sure to state your opinion on my idea of a Fable forum if you've played it.

Especially on this thread and all of the info' contained in it, you will realise that anyone can say they have found the old man - - right ?
So, just as other players have suggested, screenshots are the only way of confirming this, this will mean a stats-shot overlayed on the old man, also a marvin-g shot, as well as a marvin e-ab of posessed old man. this is so that no clever wise guys can fool around.  |

The old man stays in the swamp witches cave until you set the right trigger. If you don't set this trigger in time, the swamp witch kills him and dumps the corpse in the fog tower

I analyzed the riddlesand this is what i came up with.
You shall play as normal, not mean deeds though nor bad dialogues, there s some bad dialogues you should not ask or say, you must wait until the 5th chapter, the power you gain should be shared with Xardas.
The underlined thing isn't sured at al, of coyrse without the use of marvin.

Maybe there is a way to not give the letter to the fire-magicians, and when the old mine collapses, and you go to the new camp, there you learn the 6. circle of magic...

Sorry if i cant remember exactly.
...And what if the only reason of Xardas to destroy the Sleeper is to get out from the barrier? ...He is evil?!
One more thing: Maybe there is only limited time to the player to finish the game in order to found the old man alive...
