I saw that there was a patch for the European version... I can't even remember when or where I saw it, or maybe I dreamed it. Has there been a patch for the US version? |

The download patches ver 1.07L to 1.08h (both German). |

Patch is on official homepage of Gothic. But it is really just for German versions. I used it (without thinking after fighting with "jammed winch bug") on my English version of Gothic (which is patch-including) and lost game install and savegames

i've heard that the german patch works on the american version, but that it makes all the writing german. Anyone know if thats true? if it is maybe i'll try it, it might motivate me to learn german finally. I am after all half german and should know the language better than i do! |

1. it doesnt work (on my comp)
2. you have no reason to do it, because english version of gothic is already patch-encluding (because it was released later)

PROBLEM > WINDOWS ME
If youre playing 3d games. DONT USE WIN ME!! It sucks in 3d applications.
Reinstall WIN 98 or use WIN XP (Should work better than ME anyway but WIN 98 is fairly the best system for gameplaying) |

This is just your opinion. Win Me are good and win XP are also very good for playing (and this is my opinion).
