Installation troubles...

I read the other post on install probs, and I need to test installing on another computer yet. But I think my 2 install disks are bad. The play one seems to be fine, it gets though that cd fine.
I tried to copy it, and it was about 95% done and got stuck (I was making a .iso just to see if that would help).
The problem I have though is Atari... I have the US version, and I thought I'd go to Atari's site to see if I can get some disks. Well, they don't have it listed anymore. Do I need to go through JoWood now?

No, you still have to deal with Atari if that is the version of disk you have.
Look on Atari's website and get a toll free number and contact Customer Service to resolve your problems.

Yes, try it on another PC and then contact Atari.

Well, after everything, I can say I hope Atari doesn't do G3, and I hope that NotR comes out in English soon (Gold edition I hope).
It seems that Atari has no extra disks for those of us who's disks are bad. I tried what they told me (clean disks, make sure G2 isn't installed anywhere on HD and registry, and reinstall and reboot, oh and update drivers (don't see how that would help with an install, so I didn't do it)) and nothing worked. Go figure. It came down to repair the disk with toothpaste that has baking soda in it, or something like that to repair scratches, or go to the place I bought it and get a new copy possibly. Well, I don't have a receipt or the box anymore, so scratch that idea. Back to square 1... oh well.
Oh, and I know that it's just disk 2 that's bad. I made a .iso out of the 1st and 3rd disks (if it can't do that, the disk is bad) and the 2nd would never complete.
I really hope the rumors of English G2 Gold are true
