Gorax in the wine room gives you the quest and key to the lader to do it, after you become a novice.

One of the mages will give you the key if yoll do his mission i think its gorax (i dont remember) any way he will ask you to take some sussges from there and give it to the novices DONT talk to him b4 giving away all the sussges and dont give anybody 2 susseges (dont forget pedro (the one that gave you the key to the monestry)) |

Not that i know of any way to get in there as a dragon hunter or a paladin... |
