PLUGIN: I want a Garden... |
|
Would be nice to have a well planted garden for gathering alchemy ingredients off the back of a house, or maybe near my stronghold.
It would need to produce several of each type of ingredient per day and the ingredients that come from animals/spirits/etc... could be harvested from caged monsters throughout the garden.
But I haven't even opened the editor yet, and have no experience. |

Will it include a shrubbery? Will there be two shrubberies, so that a two-level effect is created? Questions that a wise person would take into account while in the Editor. _________________ Make good choices. |

?
I don't understand the question. But the plan is to use all the correct plants for the ingredients, so you know what you picking . |

Good Lord, that would be way too much work... a simpler way would be to make a chest that is labelled "Flora and Fauna Picked by Slaves," which would be coded as an organic container, so that it regenerates all scripted contents every-so-often.
P.S.: The first of my posts was in reference to Monty Python and the Holy Grail. _________________ Make good choices. |

Bah, I don't care how much work it is. I want it to Look pretty .
It doesn't WOW the Homes and Garden's magazine people to just put a silly ole chest in the backyard with a few picked flowers in it and call it a garden...
I want something that looks good in screenshots!!!! |

It should be a simple thing to find and place all of the plants, the tricky part is getting it to respawn its contents. The plants in the game (and all organic containers I believe) respawn something like once per game month. I did read somewhere how to fix the respawn rate for such containers, but it affects all of them. And no I will not cut down the mightiest tree in the forest with a herring. |

Plants respawn once a day. No big deal. _________________ Rendelius

It's more often than once a month, and you could make new plants, with their own ID's. _________________ Make good choices. |

Think about that respawning alchemy ingreedients issue:
How about a "cattle ranch" for those other, non chloro-tastic ingredients? _________________

Can't you just make new objects and write a script that makes the respawn generically when you enter the garden???
Or even, just write a script that makes the garden respawn when you click on the "water the plants" switch |
