Learn Points - NOTR vs Gothic 2

Can someone explain me the difference bewteen NOTR and Gothic for the Learn Points?

In NOTR manual it gives a scale:
If you have bewteen xx and yy one poitn cost zz Learn Points :
10 - 30 => 1
31 - 60 => 2
61 - 90 => 3
91 - 120 => 4
121 - more => 5

But how this was working in Gothic 2? Nothing explained in the manual.

In G2, it was:

10 - 100 => 1

That's the basic difference. However, the 1H and 2H skills were different. In NOTR, they're the same as STR, only there's no point in getting them over 100%. In G2, you needed to have the other skill at some level before being able to upgrade your current one. Example, to get to 30 1H, you don't need any 2H. To get to 60 1H, you need at least 30 2H. Kinda hard to explain, but I hope you got it. Also, Alchemy skills are "cheaper" in NOTR, and all the hunting kills in NOTR are cheaper, I think.

Cool thanks for the reply. I think I got it, except I'm not sure of the meaning of the "H". I suppose you are speaking of 1st level skill and second level skill? But what they was in G2?

G2 seems very complex and will be hard to reproduce manually. Anyway just curious, the check step was every 30 pt? And it was a percentage? (50%) Something like 60+30 then 90+45 then 120+60? If that's roughly the rule then rising high a skill cost ALOT more in NOTR. If I consider only the 60+30 then you use same LP in both to reach the skill to 60 but in NOTER the second skill has zero.

The "H" is for hand..........1H=1 handed weapon, 2H=2 handed weapon

Ok I see that was an example, thanks for the help, I'll stick to use skills as in Gothic 2 only for Str, Dex and mana, for the rest I'll let NOTR do the job.
