I dunno about others who've tried being a mage... but aren't there way too few spells?
I'd like to see more types of spells for each circle... and perhaps some outrageous ones, like flight or float for limited periods, so no one can reach me. Or invulnerable? Shield? |

There have to be more useful spells, the sect-camp spells are useles except for fist of wind and storm fist. Also would it be great if spells are changed more quickly if you higher circels or more mana. And I also agree there have to be more spells in Gothic 2. |

I would like to have about a dozen spells that you could entertain people with... like walking up to a lady and turning her into a cow for the day. Or perhaps a fireworks display; or a magic trick for kids that will make them say a different opening line to you. _________________ Make good choices. |

I agree. There were only two or three really useful spells in G1. The sect was a waste of time entirely. I'd like a fly spell too so I could drop stuff from on high out of reach. _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!

Don't you mean kilt?
Anyway... with more spells we'll need a better and easier selection system. 4 thru 10 just won't be enough.
Perhaps there are different class spells, and an assigned key doesn't select one particular spell but cycles through that class of spells. Huh? Yeah?
If you've played Counter Strike or SOF2 you'll know what I mean. They use it in their weapons choices. |

Im looking forward to see some new different form themselves
worth using spells in Gothic 2 , In Gothic spells were nice
but not all, some spells I didnt used anywhere...
Hey did anyone noticed some spells had different effects when someone casted them on you and when you cast them on somebody?
Like some lightning and fire spells... _________________ =Member of the RPGDot Shadows=

I mean when someone casts like fireball on you
you get stuck and stand still until you stop burning - but not always..
and when you cast that on someone he can still fight or do whatever
he wants, I think things like this happen with lightning spells too.... _________________ =Member of the RPGDot Shadows=

Hmm...that doesn't always happen. Try casting fireball on diggers, I think it will have the same effect as people using it on you. Now the absolute spell that has a problem like this is Ice Block. When I cast it on enemies, they freeze for a while and then move again, but when Ice Block has been casted on me, I can't move anymore, even though the spell has already wore off. _________________ =Farseer=
