I've roamed all of the T'Rang underground and though I found Marten's diary, I can't find his idol anywhere, which apparently I need to return to Trynton..Is it where the diary is? There's one area I got the code for and opened but if I try to enter, all the T'rang attack me..is it in there?? |

No, it is not. The idol is on the first level (the fort level, not the underground complex). Go to the southeastern tower and climb the narrow ramp. On the table is the idol.

Yep, the Idol is on the ground level, but to open the gate into the idol, you need to pull a switch on the underground level.
You don't need to go places where the T'rangs don't want you, to solve this problem. The switch for the gate is in the undergroung complex you reach from the "Mines" og when you go down the trapdoor behind the Martens bluff castle on the ground level. |

I remember setting off the catapult and climbing up there but I didn't see the idol. I'll look for a switch down that trapdoor again. |

If you come to "Martens bluff from the swamp and go directly into the "glass room" where you squized the Rapax assasin. If you go directly through this room and straight ahead, you will end up in front of a big door/gate, which you only can open with a switch in the underground. If you got that door/gate open, you have to go left up a ramp just next to that gate. You will end up in a small room, where you will find the Idolhead on a table. |
