| 4th Dragon quest not kicking in |
|
I have killed 3 of the dragons. The swamp, fire, and ice dragons to be precise. After each dragon's death I have gone back to the castle and talked with Oric. He always told me where to look for the next one. After killing these 3, though, he just tells me there is no more info he can give me. I know I have to kill 1 more and I have a pretty good idea where he is, but my question is: does it matter if Oric initilizes this quest or not? Or can I just go kill the 4th and then report to Garound (sp?) in the castle as I always do. Thanks. I don't remember having this problem the 1st time I played. |

Doesn't matter, you never have to talk to him only Gaurand (sp) to get credit for the kills.  |

Killing the dragons in a different orders than Oric tells you can initialise a bug, which makes the last dragon immortal.
It that happens read the FAQ in the Troubleshooting Forum.

Thanks, I knew about the 'out of order' bug with the dragons, and I followed Oric's instructions. It's just that he never gave me the last dragon info. Anyway, if it doesn't really matter, then no problem. Thanks to you both. |

Perhaps you got lost when he told you the direction to the stone dragon ... the fire dragon is on the same way, more or less. |

There's an order in which to kill the dragons? Mine are all dead so I guess I'm lucky that I didn't get a bug. Have no idea what the order should be.
I used a Shrink Mondster scroll on the Fire Dragon. That was fun. |
