i, on the other hand, shall be sticking with my trademark class 
they'd have to have amazingly kick-@$$ armor in some other class for me to be disuaded.

Mages aren't cowardly. They could roast your armored but into cooked paladin before you even got your sword out. ....or put you to sleep.....or my personal favorite.....kill ya with some spell....then raise you as an undead servant....
