Genitorturers -Lecher B*tch

Now I know where you got the Tiamat tune from, Val ='.'=

The first song on this soundtrack "Bloodlines" by Ministry, has the beginning and end of "Bela Lugosi's Dead" by Bauhaus. Totally, theres no mistaking it, tho I was disappointed to hear that is where the similarity ends completely. It's a cool sounding song anyway I guess. Daniel Ash is a skip. The Tiamat song is pretty cool in a Sisters of Mercy meets alt-rock sort of way, and the Lacuna Coil song totally got me tapping my paw here at the pc. I was hoping "Die My Darling" by some unknown group was a cover of the classic "Die, Die My Darling", but that's not the case either. This cd is a pretty interesting little bonus.

Genitorturers are killer industrial blasphemous sleaze-punk, Ive always liked the way they sound and their singer Gen is freakin hott, but they are way way off the scale when it comes to the whole complete and utter nihilism thing. Theyre sick. They could make GG Allin blush. The only show Ive ever walked out of was a Genitorturers show up in LA, because my gf at the time was freaking out so we left. Theyre all flogging, crucifying, etc a bunch of leather nuns, buckets of blood and lots more wild stuff I cant even mention.I can kinda recommend "Flesh Is The Law", the song on the Bloodlines soundtrack is on it.

Well, on second thought, maybe not... ='.'=

And the Lacuna Coil tunes. I went out and bought their album. It's pretty good.
Right now though, I'm listening to a cover of Witchy Woman done by Babes In Toyland and Type O Negative from the Witchblade soundtrack. I've had this soundtrack for a long time. I should listen to it more often.

Flesh is the Law - Genitorturers
Doin the "perv punk" thing

Lacuna's similar to Evanescence, er rather Evanescence is similar to them, so I can definitely see the Val connection there ='.'=

Its been said that Evanescence is the poor man's (or succubus's) Lacuna Coil. I like what Ive heard thus far, it's hard to get good varied male/female vox like that. Alot of the reason that I tolerate Cradle of Filth is Sarah Jezebel Deva, who does backup vox and the majority of the spoken parts in her insanely cool British accent. I prolly wouldnt have ever given them a second listen had it not been for her snapping and purring

Never listened to "Babes.. " myself, that cover does sound interesting. I dont know where it's all leading tho, you know, with the classic rock covers. Metallica does "Turn the Page", Courtney Love bleats out "Gold Dust Woman", Korn does "Another Brick In the Wall", Babes in Toyland do "Witchy Woman". What's next, Marilyn Manson does "Rock and Roll Hootchie Koo"?

Is the rest of that Tiamat cd any good? You've had a little time to absorb a little more than Cain...
