Wiz 8 difficult & mods quiestion.

Does anybody know whether there's any mods - either existing or in the works - that ups the difficultly level? I love Wiz 8 to bits, but after quite a few play thrus it's starting to lose it's challenge. Would be nice to see it throw large numbers of higher level monsters - in relation to your character's level - at the party.
Any thoughts?

I think we may have to wait a few more months for this. I know that the current editor has the ability to affect monster spawns. And I also saw where someone is working on a mod to increase the monster difficulty starting with the Monastery. IIRC, I believe he/she said that it was being made for a starting party of level 5 characters (assuming an import party from Wiz 7 I believe). I can't seem to find a reference to it at the moment though...

Hardest difficulty is too easy? I guess I'm nowhere near to be a hardcore RPG player. Even the medium difficulty was too difficult for me :].

I found the mod that I refered to above. It appears that it is still in Beta though with some crashs to desktop and some scripting issues.
