That should be an interesting party. Between the gadg and bard, you'll have access to most of the good buffs that your priest doesn't get, so it should be a solid crew.

We're in Arnika again, did the retro dungeon, crypt and got the rat breeder quest, but I've got them carrying too many weapons so I headed back to Antone. Got a few new items (to me anyway) the sprite dagger and the chiefton mace.

PP is going well, but slowing the game down, because of the reloading. Maybe I'm too greedy, "borrow" a few things and save, rinse and repeat.

I only lack a fighter/tank to finish off the mobs. Both the gad and bard get drained using their item very quickly and the ammo for the omnigun @ 2 shots per round is eating the stones/darts very quick.

Well, we are Rapax Templars. Got two of the three artifacts, and that may be as far as they go. They aren't growing on me and the fun is wearing thin.

Not sure may try a duo or solo for fun and to see how far I can get.

I do have one question, is there a way into the treasury at the Rapax Castle?

Not in person, although you can make a few withdrawals.

Pickpoctet Test Party

So i started 3 parties and got my one for #25 past all the pockets they can pick, and the PP-test party past Burz (i wanted to start with SOME points for the test...) So i'm just gonna see what they can do, then i'll post my findings. I know it's late in the game's life for this, but i'm still curious myself.
They are but two; a Liz Bard and a Human Bishop. (they'll be changing to Sam and Lord when they get to Ferro) and are currently finishing off Stealth in the Lower Monastery.

Picking the Patched Pocket (NOT)

Well, ok, it's as bad as our first quick assessment; the patch makes PP much less likely than real life does. Aside from the mass and dimensions of the things you can pick, i would certainly believe a balance could have been found, but i'm guessing some big-bux org put pressure on the patchers to have a "zero-tolerance" attitude toward theft...like let us blast fairies to bits, but don't you sneak stuff! (so you have to kill NPC's you'd otherwise only rob) Anyway:
I made the rounds of a few merchants to PP as much as i could at each. I did this at Umpville, because there are 3 with really long lists and 5 other handy ones with shorter lists. I had understood that increases in PP Skill would accrue more chances, but that turned out false--only raising level gets you more chances than the first roll at initial contact. Even leaving the zone, including a 48-hour wait, doesn't affect the # of attempts before bustage. So, in order to have sufficient PP Skill to allow enough attempts to get the good stuff, i was at a high enough level to get to the equivalent (mostly better) by finding, buying, etc. Except the Dragon Kites and Enchanted Bow, there's not a lot you can PP that you can't also get otherwise.
But i'm kinda addicted to the gambling aspect, so i'll go back to playing unpatched, TYVM!
