Poems of Myrtana! Please watch it!

3 months ago I found a book (near the main gate in somebody’s hut)
called "Poems of Myrtana" and a "Song of confession" in it. I wanted to ask maybe somebody saw some other books with poems?

Do you mean the main gate of the Old Camp? I think ive read that book before but i think its the only one like it. At the water mages library there are some books with history... Thats all that i can think of right now.

I also found some books with history ("War with Varant", or something like that). There are some books about fighting ("Real power" and so on...)
and many books about magic! I like to keep books!

BTW: Korplem - nice avatar!

I am here since 26 DEc 2003
But I am playing Gothic1 for almomst 2 years...the strange think is that I never played it as a mercenary...should I,,, does it worth it?'cause when you join the Old Camp you can be a Water Mage afterwards.

Just a little different. But you can't be mage until after you attack the free mine.

Dont think so.I remember attacking the "not so free mine" as Wolf said wearing the Robe of the Water mages(blue colored right!).
Anyway if I am wrong AGAIN you can be a Mage but it would be a Fire Mage
unless you didnt join the mages and joined the guards when you talked to Thorus after killing the Queen Minecrawler and give the eggs to Cor Calom.

Sorry, yeah. If you join the new camp, you aren't allowed to join water mages til after the 'not so free mine'. If you start as fire mage in old camp, once banished of course you become water mage. I meant the last if you start as rogue/merc, the same with guard in old camp. Of course it's been a while since I played that way. I know you have to be a merc before water mage. That's certain.
