Be in chaps 3 and cannot rest in bed. When bed using, no menu appears. Identical problem I have also with rune table and alchemist's bench. When I try use rune table, rune fall from my inventory. |

This is intentional AFAIK. I get a message saying I cannot rest due to nightmares. Time passes but you don't heal. I think this is part of the stroryline as it is accompanied by a red waving tint on screen and a strange sound like you get when some of the seekers taunt you.
Not so sure about runes and alchemist tables tho as I am a merc  |

This is not normal behavior. Did you, by chance, speak to one of the Seekers? If so, you may want to take a quick look in the Spoilers forum to find out a little more about this behavior. |

This can happen after extensive use of Marvin mode.
Check the troubleshooting FAQ, maybe the solution is in there. You have to do a hero export/import. This will reset the hero variable to the protagonist.

I do not use Marvin Mode and Seeker do not taunt me. When bed using, no menu appears and time is normal speed. |

When I tried to use rune it just fell from inventory too, but I was a merc and didn't expect any magic things to do anything anyway.
But the beds always worked for me.
By the way people, beds give a menu even when you are faced with nightmares blocking your healing. The poster says he isn't getting menus. |
