Ok, Im playing the original Gothic and Im a templar in the sect camp. I've gone through the entire game not using magic and now that I'm in the Orc cave with Baal Lucar I can't use the teleport spell, b/c I dont know how to use magic. I have 10 mana points and plenty of magic power(since I havent used any) I dont have any other weapons on me and only have the spell selected but everytime I hit the space bar my character goes into a fight stance. please help asap im lost without playing this game |

I'm not sure but it sounds like you haven't selected the scroll in your inventory to use it. Open inventory and click on the desired scroll. A number that corresponds to the numbers on the key board will show up. Now that you have the scroll ready for use, all you have to do is hit the number, then hold space bar until the spell is cast. If you have no weapons, the same spell well be used each time you hit the space bar until you hit a new number. You assign a number to each of your different spells and then you can pull up the one you want without opening inventory. Hope this was what you wanted.

You have to equip the scroll in the inventory. Then press the assigned number to select it. Press (ctrl ot LMB) plus forward as long as necessary for the spell to cast.
