HELP! Akbaa Temple

Hey guys

this is driving me nuts.. I'm up to the Akbaa temple and cannot get past this damn security puzzle! ive followed 2 different faqs and it still won't work - the bridge will NOT move across. I looked through the forums and tried reloading saves around that area to no avail. I also tried even "jumping" across which proves impossible.

Can anyone help? does anyone have a save game around that point I could use or something? perhaps just before the temple or even after it.. if worst comes to worst, even the finale save.. I just want to see the end! I would like to finish this game! and ill be very annoyed if I can't because I was really into the game called "Sacred" and i couldn't finish that because of stupid bugs.

anyway please reply with suggestions
I'm going to go look for some save games now.

thanks

Welcome to the boards.

You have to go back to the other part of the temple and disable the alarm system first. Did you find the notes about it? Lots of threads here on it as well.
That is all you missed, you are fine right where you are. If you can't get it I will give more details, but I don't want to give you more spoilers than you want.

Yep. We don't wanna ruin it for you- I'll tell you this much, though, that part involves getting one of the golems to follow you somewhere and stand on something- But, you know what? I was majorly stuck there, too, and thought I did everything right, and I did, but guess what? It won't work, because a certain door won't open in there unless you have the main entrance door to that room (from the circular chamber) closed! When I closed it, I solved it and the bridge opened. If you are reading walkthroughs and think you have it all down, you probably do- just close the door.

"the 1st unlocks the 2nd....." as u walk past the 3 golem slots on ur left, u will come to a door straight ahead. open the door, walk thru, close that door behind u. this unlocks the 2nd door. when exiting, u have to do the same thing, close the 2nd door, which unloskd the 1st.

Don't do that part until last- Hve you done all the other switches? Like the one with the code you enter, plus the room where the golem stands on the pressure plate?

Anyway, go ahead and close that door that you are talking about, but it's really the main door (the double door into that entire area) that needs o be closed for it to work.
