Try HyperSnap it is modern and it supports OpenGL, DirectX etc. and it is for free (but it in free version it displays little advertisement in left upper corner, but you should be able to get it away (I do not mean to crack this utility, but to cut this logo away from pic somehow)).

You can download it here:

I'll try that, so long as it doesn't rely on the disabled printscreen key.

Try it. It doesnt rely on prinscreen key. You can predefine many key combination for several capture screen functions.

Shame on you. I practically learned to read with comic books. My dad is a huge fan, and there's 10s of thousands in our attic. He even owned a comic store for a few years.

Personally, I would say that neither Mad Magazine nor Archie count as comic books, except in the most technical way.

That campy mess is nothing like actual comic books.

I think the heroes look way more buff when the actors and actually buff.

You might want to try reading one of the trade paperback collections of comic books if you want to ease your way in. They have many, like Knight Fall, where Batman gets his back broken.

Sorry, comic books just never captured my interest!

Wow, I've exposed a whole new debate about which illustrated pulp monthly is a true comic book, very cool!

Well, after crashing my system the first time it tried to take a screenshot of Freedom Force, Hypersnap is playing nicer. Thanks, Daniek!

Heh. I did Piccolo myself from scratch... Figured I'd sneak him into the review, though he's not my best work...

What other custom skins did you use besides Piccolo?

Um... Android 18, the black and gold monster seen lifting the bus in my review, a few star trek characters from an online PBeM I play, Piccolo, a custom hero named Singularity, another called Vindicator, Cloak and Dagger, a custom named Salvation's Army, a velociraptor, a SAMAS power armor from Palladium's Rifts RPG, Midnight Sun, a custom named Tank...

Those are all the ones I created/modified myself. Downloaded skins I use online include Archangel, Colossus, Psylocke, Grey Hulk, Emerald Hulk...

Whoah, cool. Any chance you will make available your custom skins somehow? I have virtually no artistic ability, so making my own skins is pretty much out. I've already downloaded a couple of Hulk skins, so I am all set there, but I'd love to see(and have)the android 18 skin from DBZ. Maybe you could e-mail at least that one to me? I'm sure other people would be interested too though, so that's why I thought maybe there was someplace you could post them, so other people could get them too and enjoy your artwork.
