Gothic 2 to be published by Infogrames

We just received a German press release from JoWood, announcing that 'Gothic II' will be distributed worldwide (except Austria, Germany and Switzerland where the game has already shipped) by Infogrames. We will update this newsbit with the official English press release as soon as it becomes available.

I'm excited by the news. I dropped by the official JoWood forums and there was no mention of this!?!

Gothic 2 in Poland

Yes it's true. Gothic 2 has been already published in Poland at 16th April by CDProjekt. Do you know how happy I am holding my box with Gothic 2 in my hands?

amazon

Unfortunatly Amazon has a release date of September, and EbGames mid august.

It'll almost be a year since the german game was released if those dates are true.

The release dates are nonsense. Infogrames is now responsible. The exact date is still tba.

Now see how easy that was?

Now how hard could that have been?!
Still, I am glad to see this finally become a reality for us here in the 'states'.

Infogrames has a partner that actually gets games to Hong Kong in a relatively timely manner, so I'm all for at least the next couple of days.
