Not a big problem but would like to play at that res. Any suggestions?

Pentium III 733MHz
512 RAM
Prophet 4500 Kyro II 64MB
Win 98
soundblaster live!

Latest video driver is installed. No background tasks. After a few minutes of waiting for something to happen the end task menu says Gothic is not responding.

Strange. Maybe you should try some older drivers.
The Kyro problems were solved 6 months ago, officially and according to user reports.
