Who is your favorite Bloodlines NPC? |
|
Out of all the memorable characters in this game, I really liked Maximilian Straus. That baritone voice! Love it. Yes guys, it is possible to be an attractive bald guy if you have a baritone voice. He also gave good rewards and was more up front than everyone else with a political agenda. He was also very helpful. He actually seemed interested in the welfare of the character. He didn't treat you as a pawn by giving you silly fetch this/kill that quests. He only offered quests if you brought it up.
Beckett comes in second. That smug, know-it-all look and slightly bored tone of voice with the sarcasm made him a great character.

Beckett wasn't too shabby. I liked Jack the best though. He really pulls your behind out of the fire. Besides, I like his attitude. And guys who are a little hairy aren't bad. ;p
I think he's the most memorable character.
I'll tell you who I really didn't like. Ash. Ugh, whiny little Toreador. I left him in his cage. _________________ -=Professional Secret Agent=-

You left him in that cage? That wasn't nice.
Although, I will agree that he's a whiner. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Liked Nines the most. Liked his attitude, way of thinking and he defeated a werewolf in combat. You cannot beat that.
Jack is a very close second for the same reasons(except the werewolf killing).
Third the Commie, fell in love with that one, like it how she is always angry at someone or something.

Hehe, yeah, Officer Chunk was hilarious. He really does live in his own little world.
@Fabio: You mean Damsel? I wanted to give her uppity attitude a major adjustment. Using a baseball bat.
Nines failed to impress me. He wasn't half as charismatic as people kept saying he was. He was a poster boy. For guy who kept saying he doesn't give speeches, he certainly gave several. The only thing I liked about him was the free training in Brawl and Melee. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Looks as though we have widely different opinions on who we like and don't like.
Yeah, Chunk was great as well, I felt sorry for the guy when I had to raid the Venture Tower and had to threaten him. |

Hey guys...err gals ;P, speaking of Chunk, did you know you can make him go Asylem and dance
I had hope he would spaz out on the dance floor and fall, but he dances with the standard script, omg he has rhythm
Well we can hope for a Chunk Spaz Dance mod, I can hear it now "I was Dance Champion of the Uptown Mall Guard Association"
As of now you can only do it as a Ventrue, with Dominate in conversation, thou it makes you miss his whole shtick
Hopefully this will be fix in a mod where anyone can get Dom in conversation or anyone can send him to Asylem to dance. |

Hmm... I never ran across that option while playing a Ventrue. Was that available when you first ran into him or later? _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Its in the first dialogue, actually you Dom him from dialogue and he opens the door, you then have dialogue again and have the option to send him dancing.
I figuredout how to get him in there no matter what.
While he doenst get any dialogue at this point you can get him to go by editing your \Vampire\python\santamonica\santamonica.py.
In this section
#ASYLUM: determines if chunk is in the asylum
def chunkDancing():
Make it look like this
#ASYLUM: determines if chunk is in the asylum
def chunkDancing():
chunk = Find("Chunk")
chunk.ScriptUnhide()
Hopefully someone will make a mod giving him dialogue in here about howhe won the Security Guard dancing award 3 years running and making him trip and fall alot while dancing |

I loved Gary. Even though you don't get to talk to him (or see) much, I loved the slight air of insanity about him. And he always calls you 'boss'.
On another note, does anyone know who the voice actor was for Yukie, the Japanese schoolgirl vampire hunter? Yukie doesn't seem to be able to speak Japanese very well. _________________ In dreams I walk with you |

That initiatial response to Yukie is priceless. Something like: "You are 18, right?"
Not sure who I liked best. VV's emails bothered me though: there should be a restraining order quest to stop them

I like Jeanette the best, something kind of mysteriuous about her. She just gives off this aura like shes a little girl trapped in an adult body, especially 'cause of the stickers on her desk "Girl Power!" _________________ irc.gamesurge.net #planescape #fallout |
