Wait one sec here......

One of the primary systems, combat is simple at first, where you merely have to auto attack. But as you grow in level more and more special moves are learned, and combat gets very involved as you must learn which moves are needed for which situations. "We won't have anyone reading a book while they fight," Jason said. "Combat won't be boring like that. It'll need your full attention." http://www.castersrealm.com/e32003/viewarticle.asp?Id=138

no point click combat like diablo

I don't care about the details at this point... I just want to know when exactly the game will be released.

Yeah thats the problem with blizzard, I remember the warcraft 3 trial saying that it will come winter 2000. But to be fair to them, they do know how to make good games. I just hope they wont delay WoW for too long.

Funny how paradoxical players are sometimes

Give them a game released too early and they cry havoc, and take such a stance as to be borderline offensive...

Give them a delayed game and they cry because they can't play it now...

Mind you, I'm like that too, I don't say that to poke a finger in anyone's face. I'm just pointing out how funny it is.

Let Blizzard take all the time in the world if they have too! Given the genre's history for botched entries, it would be refreshing for once to see a developper take their time and present us with a clean product! I'll be the first to commend them, even if I'm not such a Blizzard fan to begin with. If they can at least achieve the sme level of quality with this mmorpg as they have acheived with their single-player titles in the past, it'll be revolutionary enough for me!

Well, We all know Blizzard - they WILL present us with an outstanding, the next best thing in MMORPGs, but it will be much better if they deliver it sometime next year, rather than who knows when,

Bad things?! Gothic 2 was one of the best games I've ever played. I'll be so happy if WoW is as good (or better) as Gothic 2 was, that I'll need to take anti-happy medication.

sorry i meant that i see a chain effect that happened with Gothic 2. First the game is delayed, then people complain, repeat last 2 steps about 3-5 times and then people feal like they are ready to go at the developers for posponding it for so long....then the game comes out, about a 3/4 of a year or a year later. I hope i'm rong about that...i hope it comes out within 2 months of the release date.

I'd bet money that it won't be released until sometime later than Q1 2004... maybe even later than Q2 2004. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't released until early 2005.

World of Warcraft is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG). It cannot be played offline or in single player mode. There will be a monthly fee. In order to play it, you will have to share the world with potentially thousands of other players simultaneously--such is the attraction.

You should read the F.A.Q. You can access it by using the following URL:
