The guy i made is a dark elf. I love the way they look, that evil/mystic look. I created a class, it's called a Dreadlord. He can wear heavy armor, and have big swords, but they also specialize in destruction and conjuration magic. This guy is tight.

If this guy is so tight perhaps he should get out more often for some gay sex, to loosen things up.

Okay, okay. Bad bad sex humor. But I couldn't resist.

The character sounds really cool, and the Dreadlord title is cool..reminds me of my old Dread Lord days from Ultima Online.

I made an Argonian Tribal Hunter. Spear, Unarmored, Athletics, Acrobatics, Marksman... and... uh... I don't use the rest of the skills. I wanted stealth, but it was just too annoying to live. Put it on the minor list.

Some illusion and alteration magic in there as minors just so I can watch 'spell failed' a bunch of times.

He's a lot of fun. I swam off the south edge of the map (there may be other continents to the south... but evidently the island is surrounded by a teleport fence trap as I ended up on the top of the map). He's almost level 4 after 12 hours.

I made him because I like lizardmen and I wanted to swim well. He's both. Of course... that about all he is... but character objective accomplished.

New RPG, original... That can mean two things:
Weapon and Armor might work differently from other games
Classes and races might work differently from other games

With that Reiciphy I decided that 'monk' was a class that couldnt go wrong. I focused on Unarmored, Hand to Hand combat and didnt need to bother about learning myself a new Armor/Weapon system directly.

Unfortunate, Monk are screwed. The HtH are far to weak on tougher opponents, even at 100 in strength/speed/agility/HtH (Yes, Im there)

Best Regards
JemyM

I amde a redguard custom class called "traveller". He's a bit of a jack of all trades, with specialisation in combat. His main skills are: Block, Long Blade, Medium Armor, Restoration and Alteration, his minor skills are Enchant, Mysticism, Athletics, Merchandise and Alchemy. He was born under the sign of the Mage.

I made this character in oder to play someone who is curious, interested in magic and able to defend himself. My character, Johnatan Leyden, will just loosely follow the main quest, but explore the island and try to figure out things by himself. He won't be levelling fast, but I do not care. since I do not want to rush through the game.

BTW, with my current configuration, I now have smooth framerates even in towns with full shadows, 2xAA and full view distance at 1280x960. I really don't know how I managed to do this, but it seems a 1300 Athlon with a GeForce 4 Ti 4400 is absolutely sufficient to run the game in full glory. The funny thing is that higher resolutions run even better, but 1600x1200 makes reading the text a pain in the neck on my monitor

I am loving my Khajiit nightblade character. I am only level 2 (it takes forever to level in this game...) and I am mostly developing my thief skills and then I will concentrate on the magic skills. I bought a magic short sword with paralysis so killing is not so hard. I find it difficult to sneak and backstab people as I can get so close then they turn around and attack me. I've only been able to do it once. Practice, practice I guess!

I have always played mages in every game that has them. I have only played a few hours so far but I really am enjoying the story line so far. There always seems to be something to do. She only has a few spells right now but I cant wait to see what the later spells do.

I'm still playing Wizardry 8; but the Redguard class is kind of appealing to me. I like a character that does a little arse kicking and has a little common sense. I just hope I can find the infamous Nellik's Sword somewhere

If you can't find it, you can make it with the construction kit... or have someone else make it if the construction kit baffles you as much as it does me.
