gothic was one of my favourite games
as well as gothic 2
pirates is definately not on the same level
as either of them but in all honesty i enjoyed
it for almost a month, personaly i would buy
it just for the ablity to sail, and more importantly
to try and board the ships and take them over
plus the graphics are good, but as its been said
it can be annoying at times, probably due to the
fact that it was also made for console and disney
was involved, i'd give the game a B- if i had to rank
it where as gothic would get an A and gothic 2 and
A- but not because it didn't deserve an A just because
gothic one at the time impressed me more |

@curious - Couldn't help noticing that your post sounded like a poetry
It almost seems like each line ends
where it does
exactly because it was
supposed
to do so.
Very cool
There is even a certain rythm to this thing As for the subject matter of the post, I'd say that Pirates is a decent game, but, honestly, I thought that sailing is not among its strong features - I though it was little different from driving a toy car _________________ - Druids do not fight with metal weapons! thanks for the compliments
i started writing poetry about 2-3 years back
and for about the past year
ive begun to write everything that way
sentences really are loathsome
but your right...
it is a bit like driving a toy car
but i guess i just have an inane desire to sail
sure loved it as a kid
if anyone knows of a good sailing game
let me know |

About the sailing games: Try Sea Dogs 1, the sea battles there are much better than in PotC. Also you can try Age of sail 2:Privateer's bounty: not a very good game, but looks like RTS. |

Try Age of Sail 2
Good game it is
Don't listen to evil whisper
In dark corners
It is the best sailing game available IMO. Privateer's Bounty is expansion to AoS2 and it is good as well. Those games are absolutely brilliant! Try it, it's a must have.

I didn't like AoS2 because it's RTS+Sailing, and these two things must never unite IMHO. |

Pause worked very well in this game. In fact it is one of the very few RTS I really enjoyed - you have everything you need to think about strategy, you can explore you immediate setting, you can issue comands, you can rotate map... You control things. _________________ - Druids do not fight with metal weapons! Sit here, and you over here. Put the elbows of your right arms on the table...
