Agreed. After the party gets to a certain level, I actually looked forward to the Jugg battles. Pretty good XP for a relatively easy battle (they move slow so you can get to favorable terrain easily, and [as you noted] they don't have very good resistances to anything).

Yea they're starting to get easy for me...but you still need to plan strategy and respect the fact that if they surround you, they get like 3 attacks and can really decimate you.

Bah, if your doing it right they should be attacking themselves and not you.
If you don't have at least one character that can cause insanity, then your probably going to have a lot harder time getting through some areas of the game.
Being surrounded should not be a problem because insanity stops about 75-85% of all their attacks from hitting you. They either hit one of their own or just stand there laughing/dancing/etc...

If there's one thing I've noticed about this game, is there are many "right" ways of doing things. That's what makes the game so great.
