I think we need to find "Jeff Brown"'s email address and let him know that we reset EA trying to kill the fans of "their" games. This should be made more public for them... Show them that squishing the little guy is a bad PR move.

They won't listen. Big companies never listen to fans - just watch fileplanet...

I assume you're talking about fan-based Ultima remakes? Why not just ROT-13 all the copyrighted names?
I'm looking forward to play Hygvzn as the Ningne, myself.
Seriously, though, the only real connection EA has to these remakes is the name. I mean, otherwise Diablo would be freeware as a derivative of Nethack. |

EA(Electronic Arts)really sucks. They are just a bunch of suits who don't really care(well maybe some in the company do, but the people in charge don't) about games(except sports games maybe)and will push a buggy game with stripped down features out the door if they think they can get away with it(Ultima Online and Ultima 9).
I remember one of their top marketing execs saying he could put out the crappiest game ever and make it sell well with the right marketing.
Personally, I don't buy EA games anymore (since the U9 fiasco)and don't think I ever will unless they really clean up their act(which I doubt will ever happen). |

And they won't change their tactics because their tactics are (in general) successful. People (with a few exceptions) keep right on buying the "crap" and so they keep on producing it.
