Blizzard Acquires Swingin' Ape Studios
   

Blizzard has <a href="http://www.blizzard.com/press/acquisition.shtml" target="_blank">announced</a> that they have acquired Swingin' Ape Studios, an acclaimed console developer. Swingin' Ape Studios seems to basically be turned into Blizzard's new console development department and they will be taking over development of 'StarCraft: Ghost'. There are also several new <a href="http://www.blizzard.com/jobopp/" target="_blanK">job openings</a> for Blizzard's console team.

It seems like blizzard is becoming the Microsoft of gaming, but the only difference is that there are a lot more peeps to take over in the gaming world.

What other studios have Blizzard taken over? I was under the impression that they only produce about 1 game a year combined among their divisions.
