Looking for a group for Wed games |
|
Hey all,
I'm new to this site but have played the OLD 2E AD&D over many, MANY hours and hope to recreate those days via NWN. Have been trying, without luck so far, to find a group of folks with time during the day on Weds for to start an ongoing campaign.
Wed/Sun are my 2 days off ea week, so thats the time I am stuck with. I'm in the US, central time, and would like to find 1/2 dz or so others and a DM to run the campaign.
Please post here if interested. (My time is GMT -6, so if you're in Europe, and want to participate, noon-2 here is what, 6-8 or 7-9 depending on just where exactly you are.)
NWN looks like it would be great in multi, but in solo play, I gotta say it pretty much $uck$. _________________ if it doesnt work, hit it. if it still doesnt work, get a bigger hammer, if it STILL wont work, you broke it, go get a new one. |

I'm already DMing some NWN sessions on the weekend, but I might be interested. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

looks like we have at least one other player and possibly a DM. This is a fine start!!!!
Have also posted this same message at nwc and bioware forums, alas with no positive reults from either.
As for my style of play, (just to ensure some degree of fcompatability), I'd put myself pretty much in the middle between pure roleplay vs hack-n-slash. I enjoy developing a characters personality, but I also enjoy opening a can of whoop-ass and emptyinmg it upon the deserving.
Lets see if we can get somehting going here. What time of day looks best for you folks? My Thursdays run from 8 in the a.m until 8 at night at work, so I'd prefer to be done by 6 or so on Wed evening. _________________ if it doesnt work, hit it. if it still doesnt work, get a bigger hammer, if it STILL wont work, you broke it, go get a new one. |

how can that many people look at the title of this thread, and not respond? Pretty non-ambiguous as to what is being sought here I thought. _________________ if it doesnt work, hit it. if it still doesnt work, get a bigger hammer, if it STILL wont work, you broke it, go get a new one. |

Erm... because most of them (that I know are active players) already play on my server during my weekend games?
A lot of people don't have time to play during the week because of school or work. Then there are the timezone considerations. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

I'd have responded but our timezone rules out midweek games (and we play with Val on the weekends). It might be worth posting in AOT where there might be more traffic - I know this is the appropriate forum but I'm sure many people who have finished with NWN solo don't check here regularly. Good luck. |
