I also didn't had any problems with Thunderscape back then, and it was a fairly good crpg!

I found NWN's fights much more enjoyable and balanced than I'm finding IWD2 fights. Mostly because I hate reloads, and IWD2 will have you reloading every few minutes and sometimes five or more times in certain fights (if you're like me and reload whenever a party member dies).

i dont think that nwn's battles are balanced...

some classes are so much stronger than others, its soooooooooo annoying

its also sooooooooooooooo expensive

nwn is a ripoff in a box

Sure it is. NWN is as good as it gets - hell, it is the first game based on such engine, it is the first time experience of such a customizable game (I mean user modifications), it has less bugs than could be expected , the single-player gameplay could be better, but then again - get IWD2 for a perfect single-player D&D 3rd edition game.

NWN may be not the best game ever, but it is certainly a nice RPG and a further step in CRPG evolution. Thank you very much

Id also like to nominate Revenant, tho its loosely an RPG type action hybrid a la Diabloesque. it seemd pretty fun, but the entire game was so loaded with bugs, game stopping bugs, that after 2 diff machines and 2 installs on one, I called it quits. Definitely the worst kind, that is so buggy progress is literally impossible.

I would have to vote for "Legends of Valour" as the all time worst I have ever played (or attempted to play).

There was also an old crpg called Drakken (or something like that...not the newer FPS type with the flying dragon and the woman), that was an absolute mess as far as I could tell, but that may be because I was trying to crank it out on an IBM PC Jr, instead of a "workhorse" 486/25 (I am talking roughly 1986ish)

Drakkhen
I played some of it on the SNES and didn't think it was that bad. (Screenshots and review in Dutch here) I can't find an english review at the moment)
They also made a sequal that might have only came out on the snes, I'm not sure (ss and Dutch review here)

Just to clear it up, the game with the dragon and the lady is Drakan.

A couple of pages back Ekim mentioned Lord of Midnight 3. I was trying to remeber that one for my above listing, but couldn't remember the name (for very good reason!). That game was horrible. A non-controlable nightmare. He was right when he said it would send shivers down your spine if you ever attempted to play it.

Yeahb I Know And I'm Joking the Joke you've made about my jocking . I'm to busy with Medal Of Honor now every time I say I'm going to give Morrowind a chance I came up with other game.
