UbiSoft opens GC website

Ubi Soft opened their GC website, where it say, they will be showing a new game in the Might & Magic brand...so it may very well be a new M&M RPG...hopefully!!

update: Yesterday we reported on a Heroes title...seems like it is a M&M title after all...

Just mentioning it: the new is apparently Dark Messiah of M&M, developed by Arkane (on Source engine). Source: Shacknews => http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/38078

Oh how I'd luuuuuurve a new Might&Magic title. Just playing through MM7 at the moment as I bought the Millenium Collection. I'm additicted all over again...

BTW, I'd got a spare copy (ordered 2 from Amazon by mistake) if anyone wants it? I've got both MM6 and MM7 running on XP (though the sound's a bit messed up).

M.

Edit: Dammit! Just read that Shacknews post - it's an action game set in the M&M universe! Argh! Why, oh why?

Guess I'll have to stick to my retrogaming for the foreseeable future...

Sorry, didn't see Ruyken's post.

Basically, I think this is very sad news. I was looking forward to Arx Fatalis 2. Now I know that Arkane aren't making it, but are instead making an action game.

I was also hoping for a M&M RPG. Maybe that will still happen. But I kind of doubt it, when Ubisoft uses a known RPG-developer to make an action game instead.

So basically, that's two dreams shattered in one day.
