All:
Without going through all the different character classes, how long would you say Gothic 2 is (and that's beating every single junior guild quest and every single quest for the final chosen class + sidequests)?
This is in terms of game hours and assuming no replays for getting killed.

50 - 70 hours if you look under every rock, I think. Some quests are guild specific, though. NPC behaviour is also slightly different, so the replay value is higher than it seems at first glance.

i think if you rushed it, u cud complete the game within 8-14 hours per guild

8-14 hours???
shall i laugh?
you have over 9 hours full spoken dialogues so how the heck can you beat the game within 14 hours???
4 hours for 6 chapters, huh??  |

Yea, that's far fetched. I would say at least 40 hours if you were rushing through it.

The first time through (as a palladin), exploring every inch and trying to find every quest took me a little over 70 hours.

The first time I played through the game (as a mage) it took me about 70 hours, and I thought I hit everything. I've spent just as much time as a dragon hunter, and I'm still finding things that I have missed before.

It took me about 50 hours as DH, and I took some time on me, but I didn't cleanse the forests and such. I think you can rush it in less than 30 hours.

If you absolutely rush it, you'll finish it in under 20 hours. |

I know for a fact i could finish it easily in 10 hours  U dont actually have to listen to the dialog when uve finished the game 4 times  or didnt you know you can skip dialog?  I can kill an orc at level 6 due to the fact im good with one handed weapons, so coaxing strong nmes one at a time will allow me to lvl rather fast in the early levels, meaning i dont have to wonder around finding poxy 60xp creatures when i can get 250 orcs, lus their gold, health potions, then just completing the important, gold rich, xp rich missions, making sure i do everything i can when im in one area so i dont have to go back, its easily done if u dont mess about
and for anyone who it takes 40 hours + to finish the game, looking at every single bit of the game, you need to press caps lock so your char runs instead of walks...

The second time I played as paladin I finished the game in 6h 10min, and it's very possible to do it even quicker. |

The first time i beat gothic2 it took 24 hours, but if youve never played gothic1 it will take longer because you wont know whats going on. |
