Problem at Orc Temple

After i kill the sharman that's got the lightning attacks, The one where you disable the spikes by using your bow on the wall. I go into the hole, push the button on the coffin to open the door, then when i search the body of the sharman and get he's rune, old sword etc. I can't find where to use the sword. I thought it was the tablet he appears on when u first meet him. But it dosen't allow me to use it.. Is this a bug, or is the tablet somewhere else?
