With all the talk of on-line gaming, and the future of MMRPG, what amazes me is how little FFIX is mentioned. Since FFX looks amazing, what will be its relationship to FFIX. Will there be a subscription fee? Is it the first truly cross-platform RPG? How many players play at one time?
With FF's previous history, I can only imagine that this game will be huge. Any thoughts? |

I don't have many informations about FFX, and even fewer about FFIX, I just hope some of them will be converted to PC one day.
I know that FFIX, again went back, to use these silly looking out of proportions figures, and a slighly change in gameplay.
FFX is going to be released in Japan only on PS2 in a few days, and the japanese reviewers gave it 39 out of 40 points, the highest verdict ever. |

First truly cross platform RPG? Hrm, I doubt that very much. MUDs have been around for years and years and years, and anyone with telnet access could play them. MAC, Unix, Windows, DOS, whatever OS you could think of. |

Ah, but this will be the first MMRPG available for Gamecube, Playstation2, X-Box and PC. That is a huge audience. |

I think there are more computers out there with telnet access, then gamecubes, xboxes and playstations. It might be the first MMORPG to go cross gamebox platforms, but most good RPGs are made for computers first anyways. |
