Some questions...

I began playing Arx again, but I can't remember where to get the gem-dealer paper! Where do I get it?

Hmm, shouldn't the game at least run acceptable on my comp? Its mostly terrible slow, at least on open areas.

My computer: AMD 900Mhz, 512Mb RAM, ATI Radeon 9000PRO 64Mb...

Gem dealer's license... you can get one (unsigned) from the sleeping goblin lord's room. Remember to search that rrom thoroughly, too

There's also a bunch of them in the gem trader's house in Arx. and they're all signed (I think) but I doubt many people have used those before finding another method. There are a couple of other ways, too. You don't have to get a gem dealer's license, but I'm sure you know that already.

As for your game's performance, yes I think it should be better. Your system is better than mine (I think... is a Radeon 9000 quicker than an 8500? ) and my game speed is OK.

I killed the sleeping goblin lord, found the secret room with a chest in it. But no gem-dealer license! I don't recall that I had a problem with this before... hmm.

I think R8500 actualy is better or equal to R9000. What other system spec do you got?

Edit: Ah, you got the gem-dealer license by the captain at the human outpost. Forgot that.

Hmm, the game still run really slow on my comp, its VERY slow in the city of Arx.

I lost that page from my book, but I think you can make some adjustments to sound and it improves the video speed. Send a note to Garret on the first thread. They are very helpful.
