I totally second that.

The original Dungeon Master on Atari ST was one of the RPG-games that changed my world forever. Sure, there were many games before Dungeon Master, but the atmosphere and immersion it had was simply something not before experienced. I still get shudders when I reminiscent those dark dungeon cells, the nasty purple worms lurking behind corners and my torches going out..

Chaos Strikes Back was also very good, albeit extremely sadistic as far as difficulty was concerned.
