Arx Fatalis wasn't German, it was French. It was released simultanously in German, French and English.

So, "we Germans", weren't the only beta testers here, in this case.

It should be and it Is one of the best pc rpg's ever made thats saying alot because im VERY picky when it comes to games most of them are crap and just bore me.

People are stupid and would rather play Halo or Battlefield 2 shitty mindless boring american games with no gameplay

Gothic 1 no one seems to know that game much , i was at futureshop and they had one copy to buy it was wierd cause i never saw it any where else.

You left out Doom 3 and Half Life 2 and every other FPS clone.

Calm down guys. The topic in this forum is Gothic 3, not FPSs or "American games".

Sorry about the negative implications. A lot of my favorite games are made in the USA. They have Majesco, Rockstar, Cyan Worlds and Lucasarts after all.

Anyway, back to the topic. I think that videogame companies should try capitalizing on the language aspect of games. They could market them as a tool for learning a second language that's great for kids.

I've actually installed games that came with different language packs in alternate languages to see what I could make out of it. Usually the different voices throw me off a little, but dialogue heavy games would work well. If
I ever have kids, that's what I'll do. "Sure you can play GTA, but only if you install it in Spanish."
