Free item at Maria's for reward?
   

I rescued Shany for Maria and as a reward she said I could have one free purchase. But, everytime I try to take something out of her chests it charges me for it. What am I doing wrong?

Did you move an item inside her chest (not even putting it into your inventory)? This counts like bying and selling. You probably took something (for free) and sold it immidiately back to Maria..

Well, it seems that Maria gives you a life potion and a mana potion as a reward. I thought when she said "take something from my stall" it mean't I could get a free item out of her chest. Hummmm......

I had the same problem, I could not take a *free* item from her...
...but then by the time I finished that quest I have bought all I needed from her so I did not really need anything
