Game freezes up in New Camp

I dont understand what my problem is but the game freezes on me in the cave in the New Camp. I never had any problems until then. I will load a save, and it will go for anywhere from 30 seconds to 10 minutes then lock up. No crt-alt-del alt-tab or anything. I have to manually shutdown and restart.

Thanks for any help

Maybe this savegame is corrupted. Load another save and enter this area. If necessary with cheats.

I figured out that if I go back a couple saves Im fine right up until I save, then it freezes shortly after saving.
