| How do I get by that blasted demon? (possible spoilers) |
|
My character is currently at level 5, with a magic level of 55 and a close combat of 40. I have managed to wipe out the rest of the temple and get into the meteor room, but I can't seem to get past the demon that the high priest summons. 
It seems that you can't cast spells while in the meteor room, other than the spells you have already stored, and the three fireballs I use on it are not enough. I don't have much room to maneuver, either. Any suggestions? |

If you are good the bow some people managed tp get behind the main table and just hit it there. What i did was a strike and retreat approach with my sword. I dont know if its gonna work for you but you go in after charging and hit once...then move back out of his way...then repeat the process...after like 10-15 hits he was dead and i spit on his carcass.

yes well like me you have a problem i managed to back my-self up a wall and low and be-hold the demon could not get me so i jusu kept hitting him with my sword untill i defeated it. cheers dave

I just ran, hit, ran,. hit, ran hit, heal, repeat... Until it died. Waste quite a few potions that way. In my second game I casted the three fireballs and had better weapons/armour (and possibly 1 extra level). I took it down with maybe 5 hits. |

I ran around the alter in a tight circle between the wooden pools holding up the meteor. After a few trips the demon got himself stuck between the meteor and the stone holding it in place, just above the girl, and I just stood there and beat on him until he died. After 15 or 20 hits, even if he gets unstuck, which seamed to always happen, he died right away. And I lost very little life, if any. |
