Help please - Is there a better 1H sword than Master sword ?

Hi All,

I have the Master Sword and also the Orc Slayer, in chapter 4 but I am still having grief with Dragons even though I am level 21. I have about 63% in one hand and 90 strength.
My dude is still incompetent at swinging and sometimes pauses with the sword in the air !

Bows are useless comletely.

Can anyone tell me what the best One Hand sword is please and where do I find it ?

Also, I have 3 weapons that do 65 dammage. How do I know which one is best? Or will they all do the same.

What difference does it nmake that the Master sword needs dexterity instead of strength ?

As a dragonhunter you can make yourself the best 1h sword. The best way to kill a dragon is either a bow or a crossbow, except for one. This one is best killed by using the death to the undead spell.

Hello unpronouncable !

When I use my crossbow, It takes about 10 shots to hit anything unless I am very close ! This defies the object of a ranged weapon. I have 38% on crossbow and nobody seems to train above that in the VOM. I have 70% in one hand sword with the master sword I can kill even Lizard men with 2 swings. But dragons are harder ! I think its too late for me to try skilling up the crossbow now since i took the sword route as a palladin.
How many skill points do you need in it before you start actually hitting things ?
Where can I get a decent crossbow ? Mine does 45 dammage.

Cheers

where do you find the dragon crossbow?

im a dragonhunter and will now enter the 4chapter.. im lvl19 and have 42% on twohanded and 30% on one handed (80strength)

i had orc slayer with 65 in damage but then i found a well guarded cave (skeletons) and there was the Dragon Slicer.. so i concentrated on Two-handed training... dragon slicer has 80 in damage.

anyway.. 2 handed weapons, i can learn forging from the smith in merc farm, and ive learned to make semi-good weapons and i found 5 lumps of ore and now i can learn making good 2 handed weapons but there are 3 choices of weapons.. one is "heavy", i dont renember the other ones but all cost 5exp points, are they equally good and probably "not as good" as dragon slicer? how many skill points is needed to get the BEST self-forged sword and is it the best 2-h in the game?

how much damage does it do? ive heard a self forged sword who do 120 in damage
