Missing Quest giver?

I was given the quest to talk to a person in the Mage guild Tharn (spell?).

She told me I had to do something for her before she would tell me.

So I went and did what she asked, and went back to mage guild (in Balmora, BTW) and she was not in her spot or even anywhere there?

This is the main quest.

Any clues?

She told me to go to a tomb and retrieve someones remains.

She gave me some items to help me.

I did that and when I came back to the Mage Guild she is not there?

Has anyone else done this as part of the main quest?

Now that's interesting. She disappeared for me before I was given the quest. I had been told by Caius to speak to her ages ago. I completed all the mage guild quests and then decided to follow the plot (after I lost it, heh!) and she was gone. Glad I am not the only one.

I actually saw this happen right after I finished the skull quest. The NPC moves toward the bookcase and then begins rising upward and poofs. Sounds like a pathing problem.
