What do you folks have in fps
both int the town and outside....
I have p4 1.7
1280 mb ddr ram
gforce3 ti 200 128 mb ram
I get about 17-20 fps int the town and that sux.....
and the odd thing is when i lower my configuration
it dosnt much better a itsy bitsy better |

17 frames in town is actually pretty good. Full details are for high end PCs. Yours is only average.
As you have a lot of RAM you should tweak the cache sizes in the ini. You can also try to disable the windows swap file. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

Hmm okey got any tips what I ought to put there....
I do not know what the variables stand for so Idnt want to f*** it all up

Forget it I have manage to find some info on the forum ...
Now I am running around in town whit an fps about 20 to 30 int town
at 120/120 view / object fading so I gues i sould be happy .... |

all details max cept view distance at 200 and draw distance (i think that's what it's called, the one below view distance) at 100.
runs smooth in the wilderness.
In the city though i have to put the view distance to 140 and draw to 80 and then it runs smooth. |
