spell scroll?
what?
i never knew about any spell scroll,
i thought he just gave u the uriziel and then you could say 'is their a way to use the power of the uriziel even though im a mage?' and he tells you about taking the gem out and making it the wave of death rune..
but i never knew about any spell scroll

Umm... ok all of you are confusing me. Xardas examines the sword, and gives you an unreadable scroll to take to the one and only milten.

You follow him to the pile and voila! its charged!

Then you go back to Xardas to either pluck the rune, or get a hand-job.

Is this a bug?

After you talk to Xardas, it appears as a 2 handed weapon in your weapons section, not in the misc. section.

If he is equipping it, then you must have sold it to him!

You have a "Strange Sword" in your inventory.
It becomes the Uriziel sword after it's charged.
After you show it too Xardas, he says he can create the spell. In the meanwhile go to his old tower, he will give you key to chest. When you go back to Xardas he has the spell ready but tells you how to get it charged.
Then you are suppose to teleport to Saturas, Milton should be there.
You go to the library to talk then Milton walks down to the bottom of the Ore Mound.
You have to go thru Saturas's chamber, there is a passageway that goes to the ore mound. When you hit bottom just go near Milton and follow the prompts.
Then go back to Xardas.

hehehe...
d00d, I got to the 5 strange shrines on the floor and realized that those silly black "Sword of (something)" swords (yea the mission critical ones) I ended up selling 1 of them away for some potions to a vendor and I couldnt for the life of me remember which one...had to remake the entire game.
There should be like some kinda of "Hey Dummy, put me back!" message when you try selling a quest-related item

hah

It took me a year to figure out that I was supposed to put them in the shrines the first time I was locked in a room with it.

How much was it worth? I always felt it was taboo to sell anything in that last inventory slot. Other than weed.

If Milton agreed to help you charge Uriziel then you have the sword.
Wether you think you have it or not, walk down to the ore pile and let Milton do his thang. You'll have it in your inventory afterwards.
